Karl has recently co-authored a book titled Be Your Own Brand, an innovative book about personal brand, based upon personal values. His concepts of personal brand have been effectively used to help individuals align more closely with their employers brand resulting in true organic brand building for organizations.
Karl holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota. He got his "real world" experience in numerous marketing and sales positions with Cargill, Schlitz Brewing Company, CPC International and Control Data. Karl is the former chair of the board of directors of the Design Management Institute and currently serves on the board of VocalEssence.
